Blog 8: A Subject you've enjoyed studying this semester

Well, hi everyone. Like the titles say i'm going to talk about the course i enjoyed this semester. And that is the Film Making course (taller). It has so many things that open your creativity from the theorical basis point of view to the practical action in the decisive moment of the shooting.

So i like it very much because you can choose what cinematographic treatment you like from other movies and art references like painting, dance, music. And that way you start making your own cinematographic style so it has been a grateful challenge for me and my cineamigos.

I realize that you learn so much when you are in a shooting  more than the pre-plan after shooting. Because in that moment you got to be with your eyes really open and you have to be creative to solve a lot of problems that emerge in any moment. Its an anxiety situation so you have to be mentally clear and organized.

In the last shooting i take the photography director role and it was very difficult because i use a shoulder rig for stability to the camera so i have to rest sometimes because it was really heavy. Aside of the difficult work with different lights it was really great!.
